The fourteenth federal electoral district of Mexico City (Distrito electoral federal 14 de la Ciudad de México; previously "of the Federal District") is one of the 300 electoral districts into which Mexico is divided for elections to the federal Chamber of Deputies and one of the 22 currently operational districts in Mexico City.[1]

It elects one deputy to the lower house of Congress for each three-year legislative period, by means of the first-past-the-post system.

District territory[edit]

Under the 2022 districting plan, which will be used for the 2024, 2027 and 2030 federal elections,[2] the fourteenth district covers the northern (urban) portion of the borough (alcaldía) of Tlalpan.[3][1]

Previous districting schemes[edit]

Under the 2005 districting scheme, the 14th district covered the whole of the borough (delegación) of Tlalpan, with the exception of its northernmost portion, which made up the 5th district. It was one of the city's few rural electoral districts.[4]

Between 1996 and 2005, the district covered the westernmost third of the borough of Iztacalco.[5]
